Sacred Geometry refers to all the geometric shapes, patterns, frequencies, proportions, ratios, and laws that have been observed to underlie the organic life forms, objects and phenomenon occurring everywhere in the known universe.
What Is Sacred Geometry?
Sacred geometry is essentially the study of the spiritual meaning of various shapes.
More specifically, sacred geometry attributes symbolic and sacred meanings to certain geometric shapes and certain geometric proportions.
It’s associated with the belief in a divine or intelligent creator.
During medieval times, God was seen as a sort of divine geometer (a person skilled in geometry) who created everything based on number and proportion.
Most of Leonardo da Vinci’s investigations regarding natural phenomena were carried out with a belief in the mathematical principles underlying all forms.
It can be applied to the forms, numbers, and patterns seen throughout the natural world. For example, the spiral of a snail’s shell, the pattern of a single snowflake, the branches of a tree, or the hexagonal structure of the honeycombs in a beehive. These can all be examples of sacred geometry.

Sacred geometry is considered an ancient science that explores and explains the energy patterns that create and unify all things as we know them.
It reveals the precise way that the energy of creation organizes itself. In fact, every natural pattern of growth or movement comes back to one or more geometric shapes.

Sacred geometry is based in ancient Greek philosophy and was later studied by medieval Islamic scientists.
The Greeks believed Euclid invented geometry from Thales. Islamic scientists, such as Ibn al-Haytham (Alhazen) and Abū Rayhān al-Bīrūnī, were some of the first to study sacred geometry in more detail.

Sacred geometry amplifies our connection to spirit, creates harmony within ourselves, and between ourselves and the outside world.

One of the most fascinating aspects of sacred geometry is the symbol known as Metatron’s Cube. Metatron was an archangel who was mentioned in Islamic, Judaic and Christian medieval mythologies.
Metatron oversaw all of creation and is considered an Archangel as well as a judge.

Metatron’s Cube is said to contain the five key sacred patterns or shapes that make up all matter in this known universe. Known as The Platonic Solids, these shapes are Star Tetrahedron, Hexahedron, Octahedron, Dodecahedron, and Icosahedron.
The Platonic Solids are called the perfect solids because, in each one of them, every face has equal side length, equal face size, and equal angle.

Spiritually, the circle represents the never-ending cycle of life, death, and rebirth, as well as oneness.
It’s said that the first thought of God is represented by a circle, which exists by itself and is then repeated. It forms the basis of many sacred geometry patterns.

With Archimedes and Apollonius of Perga, Euclid is generally considered among the greatest mathematicians of antiquity, and one of the most influential in the history of mathematics.

Our world is a lot more mysterious and wonderful than we may have been conditioned to believe coming up through our various education systems.
It’s my personal belief that our ancestors possessed advanced knowledge that has been lost or purposely hidden along the way.
