We must accept reality for what it is sometimes. There have been countless situations in life where I wished things had worked out differently.
But they didn’t. So why spend so much emotional capital thinking about what could have been?
It makes no rational sense.
Likewise, if there are certain situations in our lives out of our control, that is just the reality of the situation.ย
If something is within our own control, then it’s time to formulate a plan and get to work.ย If not, then acceptance is the only rational way forward, and worrying is often beyond pointless.
When it comes to our general environment take people and things as they are, without an expectation that the person or thing will change, while hoping they might change.
