What Is Some Of The Best Personal Advice Out There?
Stop trying to make yourself happy. Today’s self-help culture has us believing that happiness is around the next corner. But humans have evolved to survive, not to be happy. If we’re going through a tough time currently or don’t feel joy at every turn, that’s normal.
Most decisions are reversible. Don’t obsess as much about always making the right decision. Define the problem, list out potential solutions, and pick a path forward. Yes some decisions can’t be changed, but many are not like that.
Be fearless. Fear is what keeps many of us from reaching our dreams. Never let the fear of something stop you.
Remember it’s not always about you. If someone slights you or rejects you, don’t take it personally. The truth is most people are too consumed with their own issues or problems to appreciate what you’re doing or who you are as a person.
Stop worrying about the career. Don’t worry as much about the narrative of your career. Get work experience, earn money, and pursue professional opportunities that interest you.
